Hi! I'm Emeline. I'm 19 years old, and I was born and raised in Holliston, Massachusetts. I began my photography journey as a senior in high school, when I became the editor of my school's yearbook. I quickly realized upon taking the job that this actually meant I would be tasked with making the entire book myself. This momentous task, however, ended up being a blessing in disguise, as it made me realize that I truly enjoyed photographing our school events, from pep rallies to club meetings to school dances. I got my first camera after I graduated, and haven't looked back since.
My favorite thing to shoot is easily combat sports, because I'm in front of the camera sometimes too! I compete in both Muay Thai and BJJ, so I have firsthand experience with the emotional gravity of stepping onto tournament mats or into the ring. It's a big deal. For this reason, I am committed to delivering final images that I would be absolutely stoked to receive after a fight.
In my free time, I love to draw, listen to and play music, and, of course, train. I'm very creative and am constantly taking on new art projects (usually before I finish the last one). I can't live without Spotify, and I consider walking the aisles of Whole Foods an activity worth leaving the house for.
